After 38 years in education, Superintendent Stacy Yao announced her retirement, effective June 30, 2026. Thank you, Superintendent Yao, for your dedicated service to our CUSD community for the past 11 years.

The CUSD Governing Board ("Board") is conducting an executive search for the District's next Superintendent. The executive search firm Leadership Associates ("Consultants") was selected to advise the Board in this important process. Many of the instructional technology tools utilized in our classrooms remain available to students throughout the summer. Student can keep the learning going all summer long by accessing these tools through their Clever login. All tools will turn off on July 24, 2026, so we can begin to roll over classes and set up our systems for the 2026-27 school year. We hope students take advantage of these resources throughout the summer.

A process completed in 2020, the Facilities Master Plan (FMP) has four main components: Cupertino USD’s Educational Vision and Goals, the Facilities Condition Assessments, a Demographics Review, and a Financial Analysis.
